The judge failed to comply with the law and maintain professional competence in the law, when, after ejecting a criminal defense attorney, the judge compelled the attorney’s client to proceed with the hearing in the absence of the attorney. The Commission further concluded that the judge failed to treat the attorney with patience, dignity and courtesy, performed judicial duties with bias against the attorney and his client, and failed to accord the attorney and his client the right to be heard according to law.
